On Thursday, December 14, 2007, a gale-force wind struck Seattle, Washington.  A tree fell on one writer's favorite haunt--BurgerMaster, closing it for a few days.  This chapbook lived to tell a tale fraught with anomie, friendship and a dearth of bad coffee.

What the Critics are Saying

"I've seen the best minds of my generation eating at BurgerMaster"
        -- Alan Ginsburger

"Think taste!  Think the sensuality of the salad bar!  Think the poppy reds and tulip yellows of the botanical garden!  Think Boyd's coffee!"
        -- The Stranger Than Thou

"I saw Elvis in BurgerMaster"
        -- Roy Orbison
