Ages 3-8 Uh oh. The gate is open and Tulip, a small dachshund puppy, spots a butterfly outside and runs after it. Stella, Tulip's mom, sees her pup run out of the yard and goes after her. In a moment they are lost. So begins their adventure. They meet Cooper, a wise pug who puts them on the path to find Shona, the rescue lady. Sammy, an Irish wolfhound who is homeless, joins the group. Later they meet Kate, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was once held in a puppy mill where she was caged and not allowed to set foot on the ground. A compassionate story that touches on abandoned pets, puppy farms, the value of microchipping, and shows animals' love for one another, Stella and Tulip is as heartwarming as it is entertaining.
